QUESTION: If we embark on a national "bus tour" (IE literally taking the bus throughout the country, visiting congressmen and Senators (particularly in the Red States), will you support it? If we come through your city, will you help us with the media, events, etc as we come through? Will you support it financially? This is something we've done to good effect in the past many times. Thinking very hard about hitting the road again, but will only do so if our members show enthusiasm and a willingness to support it. Please let me know your thoughts! 4/19/2026 Sunday Action... Hey Everyone!
We're asking everyone to send a message like this one to the President before tomorrow. Also, will you please retweet this, this and this? These daily actions really help! 👉👉 We're hoping very much that 500 people will pitch-in $20 today to our Gofundme, or through the normal channels. We're 65% of the way down, now, and this would allow us to focus on the fight through July! Will you please just help and make this fundraising a bit easier on us? Please remember, folks: We have, by far, the largest muscle in the country for fighting for REAL student loan justice. The other, corrupted groups will never do it. It really is up to us. Next week we're doing a full court press in Congressional districts across the country. We are REALLY going to need your help with them. Please tell me you are up for the fight. We're asking you to send a message like this one to the President today if you haven't yet this week. When we did this in 2022, we wound up on Fox News, which was good. If everyone reading this does this, it will make a huge difference. Will you also please chip-in to our Gofundme or through the normal channelsat this time? The battle continues. Today, we're asking everyone to send a message like this oneto the President. Recent data shows that 75% of all borrowers aren't paying, and defaults are screaming upward. The President knows this can't continue, and that student loan voters will be turning hard against the Republicans in the mid-terms if he doesn't do something, so I see a real shot for us here! 🙏 We are really needing people to either pitch-in to our Gofundme, or donate through the regular channels, folks. If 30 people could chip in $20, we'd be set for the week. Will you please help? Great thanks to Michelle, Donald, John, Sean, Vincent, Carol, Scott, Donna Lee, Carolyn, Jennifer and Elliot who helped over the past few days. Will you please join them? I truly believe that more people will begin financially supporting us going forward as long as we keep doing good work- we're seeing a big spike in new members over the past few months- but it may take some time for them to see that. I cannot tell you how important you all are for keeping us in this fight during these very difficult times... 👉 This week, we are sending strong letters to various university Presidents. They can no longer ignore us. I hope and pray and believe that they will come around to agreeing that they have an obligation to volunteer, collectively, to do their part to ensure that bankruptcy protections are returned to these loans. She does very good work. She is embarking on a project to do "man in the street" interviews for us in Chicago, where she'll be interviewing people where they live to show the country just how badly people are being hurt by these loans.
