Saturday Action!

Picture
Hey Everyone!
The battle is raging!
  • Retweet this, this and this.
  • Join our Facebook group if you haven't.  It's growing really quickly right now.  Join your state chapter, too.
👉 We REALLY need to break through on fundraising folks. Will you please make a first-time contribution or re-up your support through our Gofundme or the normal channels at this time. This battle gets much, much easier without having to worry about fundraising all the time...THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE!
Something Big is happening folks.  It's hard to quantify...but...my senses are tuned-in very closely to this problem, and I am seeing capitulations from the lending side everywhere.  I'm seeing a massive plummet in public confidence in the lending program (which is completely appropriate), and among our members (both long-time, and new), I am seeing a boldness, a total rejection of this loan scam, like I haven't seen before. This is a very good for us, but it doesn't mean this problem  is going to solve itself. It absolutely is not. The news media is almost 100% against us now, and while people are finally seeing through it, it is still a very strong force against us.
It means that we are strong right now (whatever the media might write), and that we have to STRIKE HARD while this window is open for us.   This is still YOUR battle.  These are still YOUR loans, and pushing Congress and the executive branch harder than we ever have before is what absolutely MUST HAPPEN!!
We need you fighting.  The country needs you fighting, right now, more than ever-
Sincerely,
Alan

Friday Action:  Pushing the Secretary of Education...HARD!

Picture
Hey Everyone-
Today's action:
  • Retweet this, this and this.  Repost them to a few republicans in Congress.  They are vulnerable right now, and listening!
  • Will you please contribute to our Gofundme or through the normal channels? We're really needing to make some headway with this right now...Thanks to all 681 people who have so far-
Good on Sean for getting this strong call into C-SPAN yesterday...everyone would be doing this once/month.
We want to make a new slideshow showing some of our worst hurt borrowers. You can see our existing slideshow here.
If you have numbers like these and want to be included, please send me all the info that should be on the slide.  Include a short quote (as in the existing slides)...This will be strong!
We need you in this fight...the country needs you, as unlikely as that may sound.

Sunday Action!

Picture
Good Sunday All!
The battle continues...We're picking up a lot of new members right now, which is great.  But that really only matters if everyone is doing the actions.  Today's action:
  • Retweet this, this, and this.
  • Join your state chapter.
  • 👉 Will you please chip something in to our Gofundme or through the normal channels?  It would be exceptionally helpful at this time  🙏🙏
We really need to make this next week a big one for us.
Doing the past 2 weeks of the daily actions would be really good right now to start off...
This is your battle.  We need you.  The country needs you!

Saturday...Epstein Connection to Student Loans

Picture
Good Saturday, All!
Lot's going on right now...Because it's Saturday, I need to ask:  Will you all please chip something in to our Gofundme?  We're now 59% of the way done, and can't survive to fight this battle without your modest support:
https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-alan-collinges-fight-for-student-loan-justice
🙏🙏
GREAT Thanks to John, Lydia, Lena, Sean, Kathryn, Joan and others for their contributions over the past several days.  Please will you join them and make this a bit easier on us?
See yesterday's Livestream.  We're finding a few interesting linkages between the Epstein thing...Today's action:
  • Retweet this, this and this.
  • Join your State Chapter Group.
The Facebook group is growing quickly right now!  I truly hope that you will spread the word about this group and our movement.  Literally no one else will and our opposition (including the fake, astroturf groups) are injecting as much noise into this issue as they can right now. Word of mouth among normal people is what will win this battle for us...YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE!!
Have a Great Weekend!  GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING!

Picture
Hey Everyone!
Lot's happening right now.  Busy week.  Today's action:

  • Will you please chip into our Gofundme?  Thanks to Bart, Sophia, Lena, John and Jaliesa over the past 4 days, we're now 59% completed!  Please join them?!
We really need to fight harder than ever right now folks.  The bad guys are losing their grip.  We need to strike HARD right now.  ^This action is a strong punch.
Do more than just these actions.  Think of something.  We have smart people on this group with great ideas.  Let us know what you come up with and if possible, we'll replicate it on the group.  This is how we win!

Re: Restoring Bankruptcy Protections for Student Loan Borrowers

Dear [Senator/Representative Last Name],

I write to you not only as a concerned constituent but as someone who has witnessed (or experienced) the devastating impact of student loan debt on clients, families, and communities. At present, borrowers who pursued higher education in good faith are denied the most fundamental consumer protection: the right to seek relief through bankruptcy when all else fails.

The Founders called for this right in the Constitution, ahead of the power to raise an army and declare war.  This has been stripped from student loans.

This exclusion, unique to student loans, has created a generation of Americans bound to debt they cannot escape—despite working hard, contributing to society, and honoring their obligations to the best of their ability.

Restoring bankruptcy protections would:
- Provide a fair path forward for low-income and underemployed borrowers.
- Protect public servants and nonprofit employees who relied on forgiveness programs, only to be denied.
- Safeguard victims of fraudulent schools and closures.
- Allow borrowers to repay what they actually borrowed, without interest charges ballooning balances beyond reason.

This is not about encouraging irresponsibility. It is about ensuring fairness, restoring balance between borrower and lender, and reviving the economic promise of education. With bankruptcy protections reinstated, borrowers could once again fully participate in our economy—as homeowners, small business owners, taxpayers, and community leaders—rather than remaining trapped in perpetual debt servitude.

I urge you to take up this issue and support legislation to restore bankruptcy protections for student borrowers. Doing so would correct a decades-long injustice and reaffirm our nation’s commitment to education as a ladder of opportunity, not a lifelong burden.

Respectfully,

Monday Action!

Picture
Good Monday All-
Let's make this the strongest week ever for student loan justice!
  • Send a message like what is below to the President, both of your Senators, and your House Rep.
  • Get a call like this one from this morning into C-SPAN.  Everyone can call in once/month, and decision makers (and their staff) ACTUALLY WATCH THIS PROGRAM!
  • Retweet this, this and this.
  • Please also pitch in to our Gofundme if you can.  We're nearly 60% of the way completed...
This truly is your battle.  This is where it is won.   Your country needs you.  Future generations need you to fight.  The Founders are on our side.
Don't forget that-
Have a Strong Week-

Saturday Action!

Happy Saturday, All!
We really need to shore up our fundraising, folks.  Will you please pitch-in to our Gofundme, or through the normal channels at this time?
https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-alan-collinges-fight-for-student-loan-justice
Our Gofundme has gotten in only 5 contributions over the past 4 days...we can't continue much longer at this rate...
Today's Action:
  • Retweet this, this and this.
  • Join your State Chapter.
Seethis interview we did earlier in the week with Rad Futures.  We're also working on a number of articles at conservative places...which is much needed at this time.  Conservatives are starting to come around for us, and we really need to build on that momentum!
This group has moved mountains in the battle for student loan justice.  We have to move a very big mountain going forward, and we'll need your help to do that.  That is literally the only way this is going to happen!  Don't look for excuses to not fight...that is exactly what our opposition wants.  Please don't give them that pleasure.  As unlikely as it may sound, the country- including future generations- really needs you on this-
Sincerely,
Alan Collinge

THIS IS YOUR FIGHT.  Today's action...

Picture
Hey Everyone-
Hope all is well out there wherever you may be!  I'm sorry I have to lead with a request for donations through our Gofundme or the normal channels.  Will you please help? We're 56% of the way completed, now, and could have this knocked out today if everyone reading this stepped up.  Please make this easier on us?!
See this strong interviewwe did over the weekend with Rad Futures.  Good overview on the current state of things on student loans.  Some interesting developments...
Today's action:
  • Retweet this, this, this and this.
  • Get this to your 3 members of Congress. Through whatever platform/method suits you!
  • See yesterday's quick Livestream.
This battle is not a spectator sport, folks.  It's your fight, and we are all in it.  What we do...what YOU do...over the next few months will have a dramatic effect on how this goes.  Our group has done great things in the past...it is time for us to strap it on, and outdo ourselves!
As unlikely as it may sound, the country needs you on this!

Godspeed-
Alan
